Fescues are all cool season grasses, looking-best in the 35° to 80° range we experience In the Spring and Fall. This temperature range Is the best time to promote maturity of seedings and prepare the plants for the weather extremities during the Winter and Summer. With this In mind, we've developed the following program.

EARLY SPRING

Heavy application of properly balanced Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potash.
Crabgrass pre-emergence (preventer).
Broadleaf weed control.

LATE SPRING

Heavy application of Nitrogen, moderate Phosphorous and Potash.
Crabgrass pre-emergence.
Broadleaf weed control.
Insecticide as needed.

EARLY SUMMER

Moderate application of nitrogen
and weed control.

LIME APPLICATION

             Lime application to prepare for   
             Fall seeding.

FALL Fertilization
    
             Heavy application of balanced   
             Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potash.
             Broadleaf weed control.

LATE FALL

Heavy application of balanced Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potash.
