OUR LOW WATER/LOW MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Our Low water / Low maintenance Program is designed to reduce your watering requirements by at least 50% and even more with a good soil profile. At the same time this program will cut your lawn’s clippings. All while promoting a green and healthy turf.

This is done by altering our standard program in two ways. First we rely on achieving a reasonable PH through lime and turning to iron and slow feed sources of fertilizer to keep the health and color.

Then we use plant growth regulators to redirect the energy of the lawn. Instead of growing vertically and sprouting seedheads, the plant will grow more laterally with finer more closely grouped leaves. This produces a denser turf with concentrated color. The finer leaves allow less transpiration and the slower growth requires less water.

The decrease in clippings contributes to less stress for the turf and of course your time and money. This scheduled program has much less leaching and loss of material and the decrease of clippings is environmentally beneficial.

While this program is more costly on the outset, it is so effective in water and maintenance savings that the end result is the financial benefit previously realized only by golf courses and firms with extensive grounds.
